Grund für die Gründung unseres Biotop-Fonds war hauptsächlich, dass es im Emsland historisch bedingt drei Jägerschaften in einem Landkreis gibt. Traditionell gibt es zudem eine enge Verbindung der beiden Landkreise Emsland und Grafschaft Bentheim sowie eine ähnliche jagdliche Struktur. Der Biotop-Fonds der vier Jägerschaften sieht sich daher als Informationsplattform und Sprachrohr, um die Arbeit der beteiligten Jägerschaften zu ergänzen.
Einen Leitfaden gibt es dazu nicht, allerdings gibt es inzwischen mehrere ähnliche Projekte u.a. im Landkreis Oldenburg oder im Landkreis Steinfurt (NRW).

mit großem Interesse habe ich Ihre Seite durchgelesen. Ich bin 31 Jahre alt, komme aus dem Landkreis Cuxhaven und bin auch Jäger und Jagdgenosse und frage mich schon länger, was strukturell getan werden kann, die Artenvielfalt in unserer Gemeinde und darüber hinaus zu erhöhen. Das Problem mit den Wegeseitenrändern ist auch bei uns sehr präsent, jedoch birgt das Spannungsfeld Landwirtschaft-Naturschutz und der dazugehörige Flächendruck großen Diskussionsbedarf, den sich viele Gemeindevertreter nicht stellen wollen. Ich kann das auch verstehen, denn das Ziel soll ja nicht sein, was gegen die Landwirtschaft zu machen. Wobei bei uns auch viele Landwirte Jäger sind, daher wäre ein Grundverständnis vorhanden.

Meine Fragen:
– Wie haben sie den Biotopfonds gegründet? Wer waren wichtige Akteure? Was waren die Voraussetzungen?

– Ist es vorstellbar, dass ein Biotopfonds auch im Landkreis Cuxhaven ins Leben gerufen werden kann? Oder gibt es dafür im Emsland ganz besondere Voraussetzungen? Gibt es evtl. einen Leitfaden, an den man sich richten kann zum Aufbau einer solchen Struktur?
